Biography
Hailing from Finland, the short-lived doom/death metal band As Serenity Fades consisted of vocalist Sami Kotiranta, guitarists Peter Viherkanto and Sami Vainikka, bassist Henri Fagerholm, and drummer Tom Henriksson. The group issued its 1992 demo Lowering Sunset, secured a contract with Adipocere Records, and delivered the Earthborn EP in 1994 before dissolving shortly thereafter.
