Biography
Originating from Nashville, Tennessee, the emotionally charged faith-based melodic hard rock trio As We Ascend was established by Justin Forshaw and Jake Jones of We as Human. After their Dove Award-nominated prior band ceased operations in 2016, the pair opted to proceed under a fresh name and recruited producer and multi-instrumentalist Robert Venable as the third member. Later that year the newly formed group issued its debut single, "Wash Away," and followed it with the full-length Farewell to Midnight in 2017.
