Asteroid B-612

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Asteroid B-612 favor a rawer, no-frills style of rock & roll echoing the Stooges, Blue Öyster Cult and the New York Dolls. Their sound further incorporates doses of angst and velocity, which surfaced on record for the first time in 1996 through the EP Teen Sublimation Riffs. Au-Go-Go Records issued the band’s debut album Not Meant for This World the next year, together with the second EP September Crush. Bassist Scott Nash died on December 28, 2022.
