Biography
Originating in Oss, Netherlands, Astrosoniq adopted the self-appointed title "Wizards of Oss" while pursuing a stoner/psychedelic/electronic/space rock style. Every release in their catalog features album artwork that renders strands of hair protruding from skin, shown either at a remove or in extreme close-up detail. Their output commenced with Son of A.P. Lady in 2000 and continued through Soundgrenade in 2002, the Made in Oss EP in 2005, Speeder People in 2006, and Quadrant in 2009. The final album showcased Fred van Bergen on vocals, Ron van Herpen on lead guitar, Teun van der Velden on keyboards and rhythm guitar, Robert-Jan Gruijthuijzen on bass and vocals, and Marcel van de Vondervoort on drums.
