At The Throne Of Judgment

Hailing from Lebanon, Ohio, At the Throne of Judgment assembled toward the close of 2005. Within two years the lineup of vocalist Eric Kemp, guitarist Brad Weaver, bassist Adam McKibben, and drummer Roger Hensley issued its debut album, The Arcanum Order, on Rise Records. Whereas the imprint’s roster at the time largely emphasized post-emo acts such as Drop Dead Gorgeous and the Devil Wears Prada, the band instead pursues a brutal, Scandinavian-brewed death metal sound overlaid with historical lyrics.
