Biography
In 1996 the punk-pop quartet Atomsplit assembled in Atlanta, its lineup featuring singer/guitarist Doug Davenport alongside guitarist Jason Colby, bassist Hawkins Pettingill, and drummer John Peterson. The band surfaced the next year on a self-titled EP issued through Living Room, the imprint Davenport himself operated, then moved to Shuteye Records for the full-length One Ton Suit that arrived in 1999.
