Biography
Established in Boston during 2003 at the Berklee College of Music, the alternative rock outfit A'tris originated through the efforts of students Mason Taylor on vocals and piano together with Michael Kreher handling programming and production. Their first recording arrived in 2005 via the full-length album Appeal, after which came the six-track EP Of the Commons in 2007 and then the follow-up full-length Lensing in 2008. With Mason Taylor continuing as the central frontman, membership has shifted often across the years, and Lensing included Ben Azar on guitar, Chuck Sokol on guitar, bass, vocals, and programming, Pete Koopmans on drums, Claire L. Finley on bass, and Takuma Anzai on drums alongside Taylor and Kreher.
