Biography
Elias Raschle, the Swedish singer and songwriter known as Augenwasser, draws on his baritone voice to convey sensations of disquiet over hypnotic, understated productions driven by pulsing basslines and hazy synth textures. Born in the Swedish town of Biel, he put out his first single, "New Seas," during 2014, just prior to inking a deal with Bongo Joe Records. Drones & Love Songs, his initial full-length, arrived in 2015. Over the subsequent couple of years, Raschle joined forces with multiple musicians, among them Kelley Stotz on the collaborative Transnational Series 1. The period that followed found him composing and tracking his second album, Sleepdancer, which saw release in 2020.
