Biography
After completing studies at the Warsaw Conservatory, Bloch assumed the post of music consultant for the Polish Radio Theatre in Warsaw beginning in 1954. Recognition for his output arrived through multiple prizes, one of which was the Polish Ministry of Culture Prize awarded in 1971. Composition that opened in a neo-classical vein shifted during 1963 toward a looser manner that at times embraced noise-type sonorities. Palindromic forms likewise appeared among his experiments, one instance being the work Enfiando.
