Biography
Emerging from Nevada in 2006, Away Station took cues from U2, Seal, and additional artists. The ensemble secured a contract with Epic Records before the year closed, but the arrangement ended abruptly. While working in the studio alongside producers Stacy Jones and Bill Lefler, Aaron Bowsher (vocals, keyboards), Marcus Affeldt (guitar), Tyler Klimas (drums), and Stephen Waite (bass) learned that their A&R contacts had been let go, prompting the label to drop the group. In the face of those hurdles, they completed four tracks, put out an EP, and reached an agreement with MySpace Records.
