Mid-1980s Germany saw the formation of hard rock outfit Axe Victims, whose lineup featured guitarists Tom Bohn and Rowland Hag alongside vocalist Frank Fanfare, drummer Martin Roco, and bassist Holgar George. Under the Mausoleum Records banner, the ensemble delivered a pair of respectable melodic rock efforts during 1984 and 1985. Among these, Hypnotised stood out as the stronger release, particularly through numbers like ‘Shoot From The Stars’ that sharpened their clear AC/DC leanings. That album marked their last output, with indifference from both audiences and reviewers precipitating a swift departure from the industry.
