Biography
Ayeesha, a Christian hip-hop artist, spent her early years in a neighborhood shaped by gang violence yet sought refuge through church involvement and school-based pursuits. Born in California, she took to the stage young, embracing rap at age eight while joining theater productions and sports teams that continued through graduation. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from a San Bernadino college, then focused on her music path by issuing Listen Closely through Grapetree Records in 1999.
