Biography
In 1998 Kenny Sehgal on vocals and guitar, drummer Jeremy O'Brien, and bassist Antony Zito launched Aytobach Kreisor after each grew weary of previous musical obligations. The trio quickly earned acclaim as one of N.Y.C.'s finest stoner outfits, their relentlessly loud sound seizing attention throughout the East Village club circuit. Sehgal created Rubric Records specifically to issue an Aytobach Kreisor album, yet listeners faced a five-year delay. The label later thrived by championing other artists including Mary Lou Lord, Bevis Frond, the Raging Teens, and Adrian Shaw. Aytobach Kreisor's self-titled debut finally appeared in summer 2002.
