Biography
Emerging from the Netherlands as a five-piece boy band modeled on *NSYNC, B-Brave first attracted attention through their appearance on the fifth season of the Dutch edition of the television talent contest The X Factor. United by earlier work in musical theater, the teenage members Dioni Jurado-Gomez, Samuel Leijten, Cassius Verbond, Kaj van der Voort, and Jai Wowor assembled the act in 2013 expressly to audition for the program, where they placed third. Within thirty days of the finale they entered a recording agreement with Sony Music Entertainment. Their debut album, De Eerste Date, appeared in autumn 2014 and peaked at number two on the Dutch albums chart.
