Biography
B-Will, a rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, developed early on as a protégé of the more established local artist Boosie Badazz. After emerging from prison in 2013, Badazz—previously known as Lil' Boosie—began seeking out fresh talent for Badazz Music Syndicate, the label he had launched prior to his incarceration and which later evolved into a roster of Louisiana's leading street-oriented rappers. B-Will ranked among the first artists added to the roster, issuing notable singles and mixtapes through the imprint almost from its outset. Standout releases in his catalog arrived with the 2015 single "Every Diss" featuring Big Poppa and Boosie Badazz, the 2016 mixtape Jewella, and the 2017 mixtape FNN. The abbreviation FNN stood for "For Negus Network" and represented the rapper's most ambitious and fully realized project to that point, incorporating guest spots from Young Dolph and T.E.C. & Maine Musik that encouraged wider-ranging flows alongside stronger production values.
