Baby Monster

In the late 2000s, electro-indie pop duo Baby Monster took shape in Portland, OR, built around the abilities of Danny Sternbaum and Marty Larson. Their taste for hook-filled anthemic dancefloor jams has prompted comparisons to like-minded acts such as MGMT and Passion Pit. The outfit issued its debut single, “Ultra Violence and Beethoven,” through 50 Bones Records in 2009, then followed with the 7” releases “She Comes Alive” and “Sudden Symphony” on Big Stereo in 2010.
