The reggaeton pair Baby Rasta & Gringo first went by the name "the Easy Boyz" before launching their career in 1998 via the release of New Prophecy. Although that debut saw only moderate commercial success, ongoing spots on various compilations helped expand the Puerto Rican duo's audience. Their 2003 follow-up, Fire Live, arrived at a point when they had gained notoriety for aggressive diss tracks targeting other performers, including Hector & Tito, Wisin & Yandel, Don Omar, and numerous additional acts who found themselves "put on blast." Tensions turned inward during 2004, however, sparking an internal conflict that led to a three-year separation after the issuance of Sentenciados as their third project. Upon reuniting, the duo issued a 2008 album titled The Comeback.
