Biography
The Swiss hard rock outfit Backwash features Bob Spring on vocals, Volli handling lead guitar, Notter on rhythm guitar, Toby holding down bass, and Spiga behind the drums. Their approach follows the enduring hard rock style long embraced by AC/DC, Hanoi Rocks, Guns N' Roses, and the Hellacopters. Traces of those bands and many others surface across Backwash's debut release, the 2006 album Kick Ass!, issued through Perris Records.
