Biography
Harmonica player Rod "Gingerman" Piazza headed Bacon Fat, whose lineup included Buddy Reed on guitar and vocals, Gregg Schaefer on guitar, J.D. Nicholson handling vocals and piano, Jerry Smith on bass, and Dick Innes, Jr. on drums. The group landed a deal with the British Blue Horizon label, issuing two albums before disbanding in the early '70s.
