Baker Gurvitz Army

In late 1974, drummer Ginger Baker, who had previously played with Cream, joined forces with siblings Adrian on guitar and Paul Gurvitz on bass—both ex-members of Gun—to establish the British rock outfit known as Baker Gurvitz Army. Vocalist Snips and keyboardist Peter Lemer completed the lineup. Between 1974 and 1976, the group put out three albums, with their debut effort achieving the greatest success by reaching charts in both the U.K. and the U.S.
