Biography
An ultra-obscure British beat combo known as The Bambis also issued a lone 45 under the name Van Dyke and the Bambis, with Les Van Dyke, on the Pye label during 1964. After inking a deal with Oriole that same year, the group saw its agreement transferred for a short time to CBS once Columbia Records in the United States acquired Oriole and established CBS Records. Following two 1965 releases the act vanished from the studio, having put out “Handle With Care” b/w “Not Wrong” together with “Baby Blue” b/w “If This Is Love.”
