Drawing from the renowned Banda Sinaloense, the 16-piece Banda Salvatierra from northern California delivers lively performances marked by an expansive sonic force. The group first presented its brassy banda sound on the 2002 Arhoolie release Esta Noche Tu Vendras. Asi Es la Vida arrived three years later.
