Biography
In 1984 Sharon Bryant left Atlantic Starr to launch a solo career, at which point Barbara Weathers took over as the group’s lead singer. Weathers’s vocals subsequently appeared on several of Atlantic Starr’s major successes, among them “Secret Lovers” and “Always.” She launched her own solo career in 1990 with the Reprise release of the album Barbara Weathers.
