Biography
Boston served as the founding city for Bare Necessities, whose folk dance repertoire draws upon classical sources, Baroque forms, and English traditions. The four members include pianist Jacqueline Schwab, flutist Peter Barnes, and violinists Earl Gaddis and Mary Lea. English Country Dances came out on the Varrick label in 1984, and seven years later Flying Fish released the second album, Take a Dance.
