Biography
On Boston's first two enormously popular albums, Barry Goudreau supplied the guitar parts. While the band idled for mastermind Tom Scholz to finish a third record, Goudreau joined fellow members in limbo to record his own 1980 release, Barry Goudreau. The solid professional rock effort produced the radio track "Dreams." After departing Boston, Goudreau launched Orion the Hunter alongside Fran Cosmo, the same vocalist featured on that solo album. This second skillful project likewise earned airplay through "So You Ran." Legal disputes with Scholz occupied Goudreau for the following years. He reappeared later alongside Boston vocalist Brad Delp in RTZ, a capable yet anonymous endeavor.
