Biography
Barry Kingston, a rock performer, first drew notice while performing in the Breakdown, the well-liked Springfield, MA, outfit that captured brief national attention in the early 1990s by securing first place on MTV's underground video showcase The Basement Tapes. Following the group's dissolution, Kingston put together his own support unit the Screaming Souls—guitarist Joe Boyle, bassist John O'Boyle, and drummer Jason Arnold—before returning in 1999 with Shakin' From the Trees.
