Batsch

An indie pop quartet hailing from Coventry, England, Batsch came together in 2013. After Don't Move disbanded, the core trio of Mason Le Long on vocals and guitar, Joe Carvell handling bass, and Matt Rheeston on drums brought in Andy Whitehead, who contributes accordion and various other instruments, to form the group. Their style of intelligent, rhythm-driven dance-pop draws inspiration from art rock pioneers such as Talking Heads alongside current acts including Field Music from Sunderland. By reconnecting with Tin Angel Records, the UK label that had previously worked with their earlier band, they put out their first EP titled Tiles during October 2013.
