Biography
Originating in Madison County, Illinois, Bear Hug Jersey blends energetic pop/rock tracks alongside emotionally charged, cathartic ballads. The lineup of singer/guitarist Aaron Kellim, guitarist John Webb, drummer Nate Moran, and bassist Nolan Wright came together in the mid-2000s. They launched live performances across the adjacent St. Louis scene while refining their abilities and cutting demo recordings. Despite remaining unsigned, their youthful sound drew notice from MTV, which included a track from the self-titled EP in an episode of The Hills.
