Belial

Distinct from the Swedish metal act Lord Belial, the short-lived Finnish black metal group Belial originated in Finland when vocalist/guitarist Sarno Antilla joined forces with bassist Jani Lehtosaari and drummer Reima Kellokoski to launch the project in 1991. Although the outfit disbanded after just a few years and left little impact through releases such as the Wisdom of Darkness EP and the Gods of the Pit and Aftertaste mini-CDs, the same three musicians later performed with the established Finnish black metal outfit Impaled Nazarene following the 1994 split.
