Bereczki Zoltán

Bereczki Zoltán, a Hungarian performer active in both acting and singing, achieved major commercial success through his late-2000s duet recordings with Szinetár Dóra. He entered the world on May 2, 1976, in Budapest, then trained in opera and musical theater at college around the turn of the century before carving out a reputation as a versatile stage actor. Hungarian productions that featured him encompass Nyomorultak (i.e., Les Misérables), Jézus Krisztus Szupersztár (Jesus Christ Superstar), Chicago, West Side Story, Kabaré (Cabaret), Rómeó és Júlia (Romeo and Juliet), A Szépség és a Szörnyeteg (Beauty and the Beast), and Szentivánéji Álom (A Midsummer Night's Dream). Parallel to his theater career, he also moved into pop singing and partnered with Szinetár Dóra on several chart-topping duet albums, among them Musical Duett, Vol. 1 (2007) and Musical Duett, Vol. 2 (2008), along with the live recording Musical Duett Koncert (2009), later issued on DVD as well.
