Biography
In Texas, blues woman Bernice Edwards spent her early years alongside Sippie Wallace, George, Hociel, and Hersal Thomas, acquiring her command of the piano in that environment. She later supplied her own keyboard support while delivering blues material such as "Long Tall Mama," a number she captured on record in the late 1920s.
