Biography
Bevel serves as the solo outlet for Via Nuon, guitarist in Drunk. Bevel's first album, Turn the Furnace On, appeared in 2000 and showcased delicate folk. On the 2002 folk/alt-country album Where Leaves Block the Sun, Via Nuon joined forces with members of Boxhead Ensemble along with Edith Frost, Shannon Wright, and further contributors. Material written between 1998 and 2002 prompted Bevel to develop fresh pieces and revise earlier ones for an EP issued in 2004. Jagjaguwar released Down the Puppet String, Marionettes EP in January 2004. ~ David Serra
