Biography
Biastfear originated in Cleveland, Ohio, during the late 1990s as a direct, aggressive metal group styled after Fear Factory and Crowbar before shifting toward an unconventional fusion of heavy metal and hip-hop. The lineup of vocalist T.J. Bruce, guitarist Ron Brinker, bassist Rob Schultz, and drummer David Breda recorded 1998's The Ties That Bind in that initial vein, whereas the 2000 successor All Angels Scream brought forward their expanded sonic aims along with new vocalist Crystal Moore. Her balanced command of melodic clean singing and rapping integrates the contrasting approaches without strain or oddity.
