Biography
Blending multiple styles, the Motor City blues collective Big B and the Magic Bullets delivers a fusion of jazz, soul, and psychedelic blues-rock that upends conventional ideas about bar-band performance. This Detroit area sextet, founded by guitarist/vocalist Brian Burleson (Big B), features harmonica player/vocalist Jezter Detroit, drummer Erin Pitman, keyboardist Chuck Vermeulen, bass player Doug Hise, and saxophone player Dave Daniele. Big B and the Magic Bullets, recognized for blistering live shows and award-winning chops, issued their debut album, 11 Shots, in the spring of 2006.
