Biography
Since the dawn of the new millennium, Chicago-based Big Breakfast has been refining a gritty country-rock approach. The group comprises singer/songwriter Peter Joly, bass player Jon Williams, and drummer Mike Reed, delivering an honesty comparable to Neil Young and Buffalo Springfield alongside a raw appeal in the manner of Drag the River. Their debut album, This Kind, was captured at the famed Argyle Sound studio in late 2001 and released several months afterward.
