Biography
Formed back in 1995 in the town of Spartanburg, the South Carolina rockers Big Dixon have been delivering country-fried Southern rock ever since. Their lineup includes singer David McBee, guitarist John Fusco, bassist Michael Watson, and drummer Chris Smith, all united by a drive to recreate the sound of classic 1970s blues rock and hard rock bands. Landing a contract with Lost Gold Records in 2000, they issued their self-titled album the following year to display their abilities. Yet the label ended their partnership in June 2002, leaving the group to hunt for a fresh home for their next release.
