Biography
The trio Biirdie comprises Jared Flamm, Kala Savage, and Richard Gowen. On the group’s first album, Morning Kills the Dark, Flamm serves as chief songwriter, occasionally partnering with Savage, and the record fuses playful charm with a gently aching restraint that recalls the early-seventies British singer/songwriters who explored comparable emotional ground.
