Biography
Bill Wills performed in a hillbilly manner and maintained only a brief tie to the Starday label. The imprint issued two of his recordings across 1959 and 1960, among them the duet “Goin’ Down to Sal’s House” alongside Goldie Norris. An unsophisticated artist, Wills delivered “Boogie Woogie All Night,” a track that would already have sounded rudimentary in 1956 and still more so four years later.
