Bix

The late-1970s 2 Tone sounds originating in England surprisingly reached Lithuania, where they are embraced by the punk-ska crossover outfit BIX. Having formed in the late 1980s, the ensemble conducted wide-ranging tours throughout Europe. Following several demanding years on the road, the group put out their inaugural CD, Doozgle, in 1993. In time, BIX shed the ska characteristics of their formative period to rank among Eastern Europe's leading rock ensembles.
