Biography
Black Alice, an Australian hard rock outfit featuring Rob Hartley on vocals, Jamie Page handling guitar duties, Vince Linardi on bass, and Joe Demasi behind the drums, focused on an energetic yet imitative mix of heavy riffs paired with Hartley's roaring vocal delivery. The compositions featured on their only record, Endangered Species from 1983, showed limited variety in their approach. Prior to its Australian release, the band arranged for RCA Records to issue the album in their home country during 1984, yet commercial success remained elusive in that territory as well.
