Biography
The punk outfit Black Cat Music, hailing from the San Fran Bay Area, features ex-members drawn from the respected Berkeley groups the Criminals and the Receivers. Citing early Alice Cooper, Gun Club, Social Distortion, and Nick Cave among its chief influences, the band secured a deal with the Lookout! label and put out its first album, Hands in the Ecstasy, Torso in the Lake, in August of 2001. October November appeared three years afterward.
