Biography
Emerging from Portland, OR as a heavy metal act in the 1980s, Black 'N' Blue came together in 1981. Jaime St. James handled vocals while Tommy Thayer and Jeff Warner played guitar, Patrick Young held down bass, and Peter Holmes played drums. The band relocated to Los Angeles in 1982, issuing its self-titled debut on Geffen Records in 1984. Three further albums followed through 1988, yet none achieved notable success, prompting the group to disband in 1989.
