Biography
Formed during the 1970s, the British pop/rock outfit Blackfoot Sue drew its lineup from Birmingham natives that included Tom Farmer, born March 2, 1952, who played bass, keyboards, and sang; his twin brother Dave Farmer, likewise born March 2, 1952, in the same city, who handled drums; Eddie Galga, born September 4, 1951, also in Birmingham, on guitar and keyboards; and Alan Jones, born January 5, 1950, in Birmingham, on guitar and vocals. Although the single “Standing in the Road” climbed into the U.K. Top Ten during 1972, the group was dismissed as a mere teen sensation and disbanded in 1977.
