Biography
Blue Angel formed as a pop/rock quintet based in New York, with Cyndi Lauper (b.1953 06 20, Queens, NY) handling vocals alongside Arthur Neilson on guitar, Lee Brovitz on bass, John Turi on keyboards and saxopbone, and Johnny Morelli on drums. The group issued a lone self-titled album through Polydor Records during 1980. Lauper subsequently built a thriving solo career.
