Biography
South London alternative rock outfit Blue Bendy channels inspiration from Radiohead and Magnetic Fields in equal measure with electronic figures like Aphex Twin, which generates constant shifts and surprises across their material. Arthur Nolan, who sings and plays guitar, joined forces with Joseph Nash on guitar to launch the project soon after both relocated from Scunthorpe to London in 2017; the roster was rounded out by Sam Wilson on bass, Olivia Morgan on keys and synths, Harrison Charles on guitar, and Oscar Tebbut on drums. Their first self-released track, the 2019 single "Suspension," attracted producer Margo Broom (Fat White Family, Goat). Under Broom’s guidance they delivered the 2021 singles "Intentional" and "Glosso Babel" plus their debut EP, Motorbike, in 2022.
