Biography
In the latter half of the 2000s, Portland, OR-based indie folk outfit Blue Giant came together through the efforts of Viva Voce duo Kevin and Anita Robinson, Chris Funk of the Decemberists, Evan Railton from Swords, and Seth Lorinczi of the Golden Bears. Merging the influences of George Jones, Gram Parsons, Fleet Foxes, and Blitzen Trapper in equal measure, the group fused country foundations with indie pop vitality across its self-titled 2010 debut on Vanguard Records.
