Biography
Contemporary R&B quartet BluPrint emerged from the BET competition series The Encore. The lineup drew former vocalists from Blaque, 3LW, and Cherish, and the foursome delivered their self-titled debut EP the same year.
The Encore debuted in May 2021, placing nine performers—including Nivea plus alumni from 702 and Danity Kane—under a 30-day deadline to create an album. As the season progressed, the roster narrowed to four participants: Shamari DeVoe of Blaque, Kiely Williams of 3LW and the Cheetah Girls, and Cherish siblings Felisha and Fallon King. That August the reduced ensemble issued BluPrint. The six-track project featured songs penned by the King sisters, fellow contestants Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane and Dumblonde plus Pamela Long of Total, and additional contributors Elijah Blake and Kosine.
