Biography
A veteran Los Angeles session player over many years, Leatherbarrow has collaborated with Peggy Lee, Natalie Cole, Rosemary Clooney and Ernie Watts. His most prominent recognition stems from serving as drummer for jazz legend Bill Holman. After circling the globe on tour and appearing at virtually all major jazz festivals, he issued his debut solo album in March of 1999. The Chartmaker Music release Bumpin' In The Basement mixed swing and waltz numbers. It also reached the Top 20 jazz charts.
