Biography
The Boom Bap Project, a Seattle crew featuring MCs Karim (aka Nightclubberlang) and Destro Destructo alongside DJ Tre, put out their first album, Circumstance Dictates, on their own imprint in 2001. Tre exited the lineup shortly afterward and was succeeded by DJ Scene. Following an invitation to appear at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT, the group secured deals first with Fat Beats Records and subsequently with Rhymesayers, the latter of which released their second album, Reprogram, in 2005 with beats supplied by Jake One and Vitamin D.
