Booster Valves

In April 1998 a one-off recording project called Booster Valves assembled in Boston, enlisting Jeff Connolly of the Lyres, Nic Dalton of the Plunderers, and drummers Winston Braman and Nate Darnden. The Australian Half a Cow label later pressed two tracks from those sessions onto a limited-edition single that totaled only 500 copies. Both numbers had already figured in the Plunderers’ late-’80s live repertoire and adopted the moody ’60s garage-revival approach first made familiar by the Lyres.
